Education Week Open Night

To celebrate Education Week and explore the wonderful learning going on in our school, we would like to invite all families to participate in our Open Night on Tuesday 28 May from 5:30 – 7:00pm. This year, we have designed our Open Night to be a more intimate affair, with families invited to visit their child/children’s classroom learning environment where they can participate in a variety of games and activities and explore the wonderful learning our students have been engaged in. During your classroom visit, you will have the opportunity to chat with your child’s teacher and hear about the learning students have been engaged in throughout the year so far. There will be a range of Mathematics and Literacy activities set up on the student tables in each classroom and we encourage you to enjoy a game or two (or more) with your child/children. We also encourage you to ask your child/children to explain what they are learning, give you a guided tour of their classroom and show you their work that they are most proud of. On the evening, our Specialist Classrooms will also be open, and we encourage you to drop by and meet our specialist teachers and engage in a learning activity with your child/children. Open Night is a fantastic opportunity for extended family members to share in a child’s learning so it would be great to see as many family members as possible on the evening. It is a chance for our students and staff to show off their learning and what helps make our school a Great School! We are looking forward to seeing you at our Open Night!
