Year 6 Dance Fair

Miss Hoffman, our new Music teacher has certainly stepped up the interest for students in the school’s music program. Last Friday night, a group of very enthusiastic Year 6 students competed in a Dance Fair at Monbulk College. The competition was open to all Year 6 students, with a dance off determining who would represent our school. Our school’s troupe, now progresses to the final in June. Well done to all of the students who participated in this competition.

Year 4 Parent Night

A very enthusiastic group of Year 4 students were on hand to demonstrate their learning of their latest integrated studies topic to their parents. A very effective way to ensure that learning sticks in your brain is to show/teach someone that information. In this case our Year 4 students developed a game of Jeopardy for parents to play. This use of digital technologies is a very effective medium to showcase student learning.
